Sunbury Football Club Inc.
What a great start for the Sunbury Blues taking out the March Past.
The committee was very proud of all the teams, Coaches and Managers, well done to everyone.
The u/6 teams played really well in their first game of football. The u/7 teams also went very well. The u/8 Blues had a fun game against parents, while the u/8Stars had a great win against Tinana. The u/9 teams had an interesting game against each other. Both u/10 teams played exceptionally well with a win and a draw. u/11 were too strong for Granville, while u/12 secured a win with great team work and positioning.well done team. The u/13 with quite a few new players all blended well for a great game. The u/15 team also with five new players including 4 girls did extremely well to overcome Tinana 4-3.
The 2nd Div Womens team also played very well and were unfortunate to go down by one goal with 10 seconds to go. Second Div. men had a 10-0 win over West with a great display of passing and the enthusiasm of some young Youth players certainly provided entertainment. The first Div. encountered an agressive and enthusiastic West with the result ending in a 3-3 draw.
Youth play on Tuesday Night, plus 3rd. Div men.
CONGRATULAIONS TO ALL FOR A GREAT DAY.
